Skin

A clinic-honest perspective on the daily habits that protect your investment in any aesthetic work.

Here's something most clinics won't tell you: the £200 you spend on a treatment matters less than the five minutes you spend on your skin every morning.

We say this because we see it every day. Two clients with the same treatment, the same product, the same hands — and dramatically different results six months later. The difference is almost always in what they do at home.

The £200 you spend on a treatment matters less than the five minutes you spend on your skin every morning.

So this is what we'd want a friend to know.

SPF every single day

Not just sunny days. Not just summer. Every day, including winter, including indoors near windows. UV is the single biggest cause of premature ageing, and it's the easiest one to control. Mineral SPF 30+ for sensitive skin, chemical SPF if you prefer the texture — it doesn't matter which, just that you wear it.

Cleanse properly at night

A clean face at bedtime is non-negotiable. Makeup, sunscreen, and the day's pollution sit on your skin overnight if you don't remove them — and that's where dullness, congestion, and breakouts begin. A gentle cleanser, lukewarm water, and a clean towel. That's the entire ritual.

Retinol, but slowly

A vitamin A derivative is the single most evidence-backed product in skincare for fine lines, texture, and tone. But retinol is potent — start two nights a week, work up over months, and don't combine it with other actives until your skin is used to it. We'd rather you use it consistently for years than aggressively for two weeks.

Vitamin C in the morning

Antioxidant protection during the day, plus it brightens. Use it under your sunscreen.

Hyaluronic acid for hydration

Cheap, effective, suits almost every skin type. Apply on damp skin, then your moisturiser on top.

That's it

Five products, two routines (morning and night), under five minutes either way. You don't need ten serums. You don't need a £200 cream. You need consistency.

When you come to us for a treatment, we'll always look at your daily routine first. If your home regimen isn't supporting the work, no treatment will give you what you're hoping for. If it is — even simple treatments can be transformative.

A note from us If you'd like a routine review, we offer free skincare consultations. Bring what you're using now — we'll talk you through what's working, what isn't, and what's worth investing in.
